INTERSTENO PARLIAMENTARY REPORTERS SECTION. |
According to an Italian proposal, submitted to the Central Committee
Meeting in Pula (1990) from Fausto Ramondelli and Fabrizio
Del Signore, Intersteno has modified its Statute in order
to have a leading representation of the Parliamentary reporters of many
nations.
The group is called IPRS (Intersteno Parliamentary reporters
section) and has the goal to exchange experiences linked
to the peculiar activity of reporting of political Meetings, of
every dimension.
This group meets on the occasion of the Intersteno
Congresses and nominates a coordinator, who is taking part at the
Central Committee Meetings of the Intersteno.
This activity is particularly important in this moment of fast
evolution of technologies, with increasing demand of delivering
minutes in very short times. This affects the organisation
of the reporting sevices and needs costant attention to the quality
of the reports and the reporters.
Leading members of the Parliaments reporting services of
Canada, Switzerland, of Holland, as well as of the Chamber
of Deputy and the Senate of the Italian Republic, have
presented up-dated speeches on the occasion of the Intersteno
Congresses.
The Italian reports at the Hannover Congress, can be consulted
in another part of this Site also in the English version (when available).
During the Roma 2003 Congress Paul Hadlow (England), has been
appointed coordinator of the group, supported by Doctor Wolfgang Behm (Germany), Anne Grete Orten (Norway), Evita Friedrich (Austria), Maria Gudjonsdottir (Iceland), Milagros Hidalgo (Spain).
