Rechtschreibreform - La riforma dell'ortografia tedesca The German spelling reform.
Agosto 2004 - In questo periodo si sono intensificati i commenti e le polemiche in merito alla riforma dell'ortografia tedesca che dopo un lungo cammino sta avvicinandosi alla fase finale. In ottobre infatti ci sar� un Convegno dei Ministri della Cultura delle Regioni che costituiscono la Federazione Tedesca, Convegno che dovrebbe sancire l'obbligatoriet� dell'uso delle nuove forme di scrittura a partire dal prossimo anno scolastico (agosto 2005). Questa riforma influenza anche la valutazione delle gare internazionali, specialmente per quanto riguarda i software che automatizzano tale valutazione. Un semplice esempio riguarda il segno � che dovrebbe oggi essere obbligatoriamente trasformato in ss, ma le cose si complicano ulteriormente perch� ad esempio la parola soda� pu� essere scritta sodass oppure so dass. Questa problematica serpeggiava gi� da tempo nei concorsi inernazionali, infatti ad esempio la forma con l'uso della ss � gi� da tempo diventata uno standard di fatto nella Svizzera tedesca, da qui l'esigenza di preparare due testi (con o senza �, quando ci sono concorrenti svizzeri oltre agli austriaci e tedeschi). Questa differenziazione � presente (anche per diversit� di tastiera) nelle competizioni in Internet (ecco perch� c'� il Tedesco per la svizzera). Chiaramente le differenze di scrittura si aggiungono alle differenze di modi di dire: l'italiano 'svizzero' usa trattanda invece di ordine del giorno. This Reform, after a long walk, is approaching its final round. In October next there will be a Conference of the Ministers of the Culture of the Regions which form the German federation. This Conference should enact compulsory use of the new forms of writing beginning from next school year (August 2005). This reform also influences the evaluation of the international competitions, especially as far as the softwares helping such evaluation is concerned. A simple example refers to the sign �, that would today be compulsory written ss, but things are not so simple, since, for instance. the word soda� can be written sodass or so dass. This problem was already effecting since long the international contests, since, for instance the use of ss is already become a practical standard in the German speaking part of Switzerland. This needed to prepare two basic texts, with or without �, when Swiss competitors were along with Austrians and Germans. This difference is also needed (also for different keyboard layouts) in the Internet competitions . This explain why a ' German for Swiss' is foreseen. The differences in writing are to be added to the differences in using the words: for example the Swiss friends in the Italian speaking part, are saying 'trattanda' instead og 'ordine del giorno' i.e. Agenda of the meeting.
